dashCommerce

Helllo Guys,

 I have installed Dashcommerce code from the site , installed sql2005 expressedition and iam able see th site

http://localhost/DashCommerce/default.aspx

Now I really dont know how to proceed. How can customize this site to look like the site iam integrating with. Also how can get the to see the products , add products etc and have complete ecommerce expereince.

Can some one help me as to how to proceed ?

 yeah me too, i will love to know what to do next, i have looked in the documentation but there are no exemple of code. I feel a bit frustrated now. And it seem that answer dont come fast cause ashshastry wrote the following post at 09-21-2008 12:08 AM: ... and nobody replyed to ... Why ?

 Okay what I suggest you do to start with is go to Web\App_Themes take a copy of the dashCommerce directory and then paste it into the Web\App_Themes directory and name the diretory whatever you like.

If you then login to the admin control goto site settings > general there will be a drop downlist called theme.  You can pull down on the drop and select the directory you created in the step above.  This way if you screw anything up you can just copy the dashCommerce directory and restart, good way for learning.

All pages use mastepages you can alter Site.Master to make dramatic changes if need be.
