RC 3.0 has only the flat shipping rate which is fine for some but I would like to use either fedex or USPS or even UPS. Are there any add on's planned for this functionality?

What interfaces do i need to tie into to create my own. I have seen that the payment provider interface is pretty open and extendable is the shipping provider set up the same way.

Thanks for information, before i go running off to write my own is there plans to create additional shipping providers? Has code already been devloped but not released which I can hack on to maybe help the cause a bit.

Not that I know of.

If you make it and don't mind to shere it then create a patch and upload it to codeplex for people to use.

There is a lot of activity going on around providers, but it's all "behind the scenes" right now. dashCommerce.com is registering new provider / component developers each day, and they are all at about the same stage, so I would expect to see a flux of Payment, Shipping and Tax providers soon. I know I've got a few I am trying to get squared away as well .

One thing I haven't seen much interest in are skins - where are all the Skinning Nutz?
