Installing Dash Commerce in an existing SQL 2005 standard database

If I use a pre-existing database (SQL 2005 std) for my Dash Commerce (DC) install, will DC drop or delete anything in the database (tables, stored procedures, functions, views,etc.) that don't use the same names as DC items? Oh, and I guess I should also ask: Is there any reason DS won't work...
